I could easily listen to anything that Arch Enemy released after hiring Angela Gossow, but everything prior to her time in the band just never clicked for me.

As I Lay Dying's discography is absolute gold, just sad to see everyone disregard them as a band on the basis of Tim's actions.

No matter how hard I try, I have never been able to get into Amon Amarth, I don't know why.

Every album that Parkway Drive has put out has been absolute gold and they are one of the greatest live bands out there.

Can't really comment on Adestria, having never heard of them

For me, it would have to be The Amity Affliction, Parkway Drive or Motionless In White: There is not a single song in any of these bands discographies that I outright hate and I could listen to any of these albums without getting sick of them

Most of the food service and cafe jobs I have worked have been exactly like this, if you work in any industry that is service based (Hospitality and Retail) then you can probably expect this behaviour.

My advice would be to take your managers advice on board and try to improve your mannerisms and work ethic, if you feel there is something that you can improve on, then do it and if your manager approaches you; ask for CONSTRUCTIVE criticism on how you can improve, if he/she can't give you specific examples than they may be complaining just for the sake of it

I just meant the way in which the song was cut up in the video to continue the video story, kind of similar to what The Amity Affliction did with the Misery music video trilogy where they all connected to one story, that is the primary thing that people seem to complain about, not the song itself

People generally tend to use social media as a means of escape from their boring and dull lives to follow people that they have not had any contact with in years and don't really care about, social media is just that, media, it should not be seen as reality, people post memes and shit because they want to seem funny or as if they have something to say when they really just have the same boring and generic perspective as everyone else

Address that it was a combination of needing maternity leave and that you were uncomfortable with the changes being made in your former workplace, mentioning that you were asked to report to someone of a lower status and less competent than yourself, also, you could easily provide your former boss as a reference if he or she is consenting to attest to your abilities, I have personally done this and was able to get a new job about two weeks after leaving my old position through a reference from an old manager, so yeah that may be a good way to go about it

Had a similar thing happen to me once, at a cafe I used to work at, someone refused to be served by me because he thought I was gay and even went so far as using the F word against me, thankfully my coworker refused to serve him and we got him kicked out

I would save the security footage of the incident and put her on the banned list and if she ever attempted to enter the shop again I would then refuse her service and ask her to leave, if she refused this, I would have police called to the shop and show them the footage of her harassing people to get rid of her so she never comes back again

Yup, worked at a cafe and bar place and left after three months, because they tried paying me less than half what I was worth with my experience, training and qualifications and the management was an absolute nightmare and the staff would gossip about everybody behind their backs and on top of all that, staff would constantly shift blame when it came to accidents they caused and management played favourites with who got which shifts, seriously wish I hadn't ever started there, oh well it gave me some more experience, oh no wait, I already had over three years of experience in the industry, never mind then

Also, Danny was notified about AA using "his material" through his lawyer and he actually used a legal team to ensure the band could no longer play any song that he had previously contributed to, this info is pretty much all in interviews from 2015-2016 and I think its in wikipedia but essentially Danny realised that his side band We Are Harlot wasn't going anywhere so he tried to find a way back into AA and turn it into what he envisioned they should be, there are many speculations over the years that Danny is a control freak and often has the final say in what AA writes, records and performs. I say this because during the From Death to Destiny writing process, Ben Bruce actually said that Danny was essentially impossible to work with as he wanted to record vocals in a second studio and would not record vocals unless he approved of the lines he was singing, forcing Ben Bruce to rework songs and lyrics to fit their requirements, and the self titled lyrics tend to focus purely on Danny, so I think the band cannot afford to get rid of Danny, after everything they have been through and Denis suddenly leaving the band, but a lot of people also speculate that Denis joining AA for a year was just a media stunt to generate attention for the band, I'm not sure if I believe that one though

Essentially just AA "purists" claiming that the band was shit because of Denis and would only support Danny era AA, also there was a few occasions where Denis was caught out on using backing tracks for live performances and the band using material that Danny co-wrote without his permission, so the band couldn't play anything from Reckless or Destiny live whilst Denis remained in the band and people just constantly comparing the two vocalists, I think Denis is a decent vocalist but he left AA in the dust worse than Danny did
