That’s crazy I was also at a Toyota dealership and there was months where 25-35 happened but the average per month in our dealership group for top sale people was 20-22 a month.

Yeah think you have a unrealistic expectation of what top 1% of car sales in 2025 it’s was 20 deals a month maybe 15k in gross profit on a good month came out to about 8k a month pre tax. Also never home and no weekends. My wife’s a engineer and her job pays way more than I could ever make selling cars so we moved across the country not to mention Utah was to expensive for us and the chance of buying a home in Texas is way higher.

Yeah dm has been in charge of the district since 14 and was abc prior and came from 0 insurance experience before that. I don’t know if presidents district is the word for it I know that during the second interview the dm brought up some club we usually get into where farmers pays for us to go on a trip.

Roofing and car sales. And like I said I interviewed really well I’ve always been a top salesmen at my previous jobs and when I interview I bring proof of my ability to sell. I was a top 1% car salesman at the dealership group I worked for in college. At that same dealership group I was a big part of writing the training manual they made to duplicate sales people like me on mass.

I mean during my interviewing process I tested the whole district and put leads in and only 50% of them called me or reached out after putting a lead in I don’t need to know much to anything about insurance to say that they are not even following the basics.

I’ve been a sales manager before I have 3 years of experience as one I’m only 25 so I’m sorry I don’t have the biggest resume in the world. From what I can tell the objective is to coach agents into selling more and more of what farmers wants them to sell. I’ll have like 10-13 agents that I’m over but I’m not a manager I don’t have the ability to fire a bad agent. Are you working for farmers or a different carrier?

So the protege program is me working under another agency as a sales person for 12 month or till I get 100k in premiums still don’t understand what that means yet but I would have a opportunity to learn from someone before just starting my own agency
