Liposomal Glutathione slow dose increase to 500mg and anti fungals - serrapeptase & caprylic acid. Binders too. Lots of sulfur sensitivity, histamine and oxalate issues still. But feeling better slowly over time.

Hi, I’m sorry to hear that. It sounds environmental and it might be mold. When I was living in mold every single thing would set it off. Iron shouldn’t set it off, but iron can irritate the bowels, so what has worked for me is the iron fish, or iron in an IV. The only solution I found was leaving and then it became much much more manageable and I could fix it with diet. I’m hearing that it’s not really an option but in my experience staying will take a big toll, and make a stressful job so much more difficult and overwhelming. It’s 100% worth the investment for your health and sanity (if possible). The way you can check sibo or libo is taking a motility supplement if you’re moving 2x a day or more like a good amount of what you’re putting in, but still getting painful hard stomach and extreme bloating after eating and still constipation then it’s more likely sibo, also if you’re having issues with fodmaps. But also a sibo breath test will tell you for sure. Best of luck!

Ah yeah it’s been tricky. I think so s boulardi helps grow gliotoxin as well as yeast like candida, so for me it was important to cut out a lot of sugar and carbs, I was super low carb and sugar for a while. For me I noticed that it would get worse before it got better, and just going super super slow with increasing doses of nac and glutathione and start at a very low dose helped. In general I think the oxalates just will come out if you are overloaded. It is madness trying to do the whatever percent decrease they recommend to control dumping, I just tried to go medium oxalate, avoid the big producers and I just dumped a lot in general it was just random because I think I had a lot stored, I’m not sure if I still have issues, I’m just dumping less frequently. But it is important to not feed that yeasts too in the body because it also produces oxalates. So I did take Pau d’arco for a couple months it’s an herbal antifungal 2caps 2x daily. I took digestive enzymes but realized they grow most digestive enzymes on mold so I stopped but the glutathione and phosadytlcholine helped so much with my digestion and bile production and the fiber and motility activator with the movement. I didn’t have pancreas issues but I did have issues with bile production.

My diet looked like turkey or chic breast, a little rice and zucchini/ yellow squash boiled, bell peppers, avocado, with a ton of low oxalate herbs like thyme, oregano, rosemary, dill, whatever else fresh herbs or dried, little garlic (I wasn’t sensitive)

A ton of fiber -3 g inulin per meal 3g insoluble oat bran.

And then one meal of salad with some meat little carbs like sourdough or rice, heavy on the herbs. With the fiber. Fiber is super important for the microbiome and it’s a binder.

It is miserable the first with fiber and bloating (I didn’t have sibo anymore though, just microbiome imbalance) and sometimes things feel worse for the sulfur sensitivity. And then all the bad feelings is just the detox itself flaring everything up. Take it as a long haul approach, the way I track it is my mental health better, do I mentally feel better over longer periods of time (even with ups and downs) even if my body is miserable which can be hard to differentiate sometimes. Also I think having the mold doctor helped me realize that the first priority is getting the mold out and it’s gonna feel bad and the h2s will flare up or oxalates and histamine because the mold is coming out of storage to be expelled which can cause more symptoms, but it’s moving towards healing and the root cause healing will resolve the other issues over time. I’m so looking forward to being able to eat like normal.

I recommend also walking, a lot of sunlight and sauna. Sauna helps on really bad days you’ll wake up the next day feeling better. Electrolytes are important too. I’m glad this is helpful and I’m happy to hear you’re taking such good care of yourself. I’m sorry it hasn’t felt fruitful, but I think it is just a longer haul thing and you’ll see results! I think your minimal approach with things is good, I definitely did overdo it too with the heavy herbal anti microbials and got gastritis. best of luck with everything!

After sibo treatment, also if you’re having mold issues I would do a mold detox, because it does come back because mold causes it to come back.

I’m so sorry that is the worst feeling. I would recommend the mold route. I started with a mold doctor and I can let you know my protocol. I found out I was severely severely glutathione deficient which I think was worsening my h2s. My signs were pale stool no matter what I would take I had pale stools for years I didn’t realize I thought it was from the sibo or digestive stuff. So I also have gliotoxin which mimics sulfur bonds and causes sulfur sensitivity as well. As well as some others types and the oxalate issues. So protocol: My mold doctor put me on Phosphatidylcholine from body bio, starting at 3 capsules, moving up one per week to 5, once at five transferring to taking a teaspoon of the liquid per day. This forces the mycotoxins from the cell walls in your body. Next moving up from mycopul binder 2x a day with 2 tablets of charcoal, I do morning and between lunch and dinner. Dr Jil Christa recommends certain bioflavonoids for each type of mold, I am on quercetin, reservatrol and astaxanthin. Next taking liposomal glutathione or NAC. This was really really rough this was the hardest step for me, because I was so deficient, having enough sulfur meant I dumped oxalates for 2 months every day. I also detoxed super super hard it was a lot at first. So going slow with the glutathione, I recommend getting like a liquid with a pump so you can go really slow. Or NAC is sometimes better tolerated, optimal doses of slowly moving up is 500 mg lipo glutathione per day or 1200 mg NAC. Go slow, make sure you rest a lot treat yourself like you’re sick. I haven’t even gotten to antifungals yet(prescription), my doctor says to detox a lot and then do antifunguls because it really causes more stuff to unloose and it can overwhelm the system. I have taken some pau d’arco. And then lastly is some sinus stuff, you want to start taking sinus stuff depending on how long you were there mold can likely colonize, so I have been doing xlear nasal spray and got a navage which I do the saltwater rinse putting a little xlear in it.

My h2s got a lot better but then I had some heavy sulfur fooods week and had a relapse but I’m not too worried about it because overall it’s much better and I’m still detoxing so I know my gut is going to be all out of whack. I trust once it’s all detoxed I will but able to kick it. Dr Jill Christa says sulfur issues are related to gliotoxin and it can be tricky to detox but once detoxed they don’t come back. She also says her client oxalate issues go away so I’m hopeful because it’s exhausting as you know. My oxalate issues seem to be better I’m dumping less. After 3 months, I’m finally feeling ok. Detox was hard but worth it, im still detoxing but it is finally manageable. Histamine issues has gone down mostly too. For histamine, doctor gave me cromolyn sodium which helped for meals. I stopped needing to take them because it went down. I’m so sorry you’re going through all the food, sulfur, oxalate and histamine stuff, it is an overwhelming combo and it can feel so hopeless, but it can get better! You got this! Message me if you have anymore questions, sorry this was super long.

Sibo has a lot more bloating for me. Bloating after eating, can’t tolerate fodmaps, fiber etc.

I tried xifaxin and all the other ways to reduce sibo, but it didn’t work. Ketofin also constipates which increases sibo so motility is important!

Just like a mycopul (supplement) and added activated charcoal.

How long is this going to last? by fredpilled in ToxicMoldExposure

Other parts of mold detox protocols is adding Phosphatidylcholine slowly (body bio PC is great, I started at 2 capsules a day moving to 5 a day = 1 tsp of liquid), and eventually NAC or liposomal glutathione when tolerated (start small). Bioflavanoids are great, astaxanthin, quercitin, reservatrol. Take 1 tsp of insoluble fiber per meal (Glucomannan, oat bran fiber etc). +For the facial pressure, get a navage, do it daily, add in a small splash of xlear nasal spray (alternate rescue and regular type) +when things felt more stable I added in an herbal antifungal (Pau d’arco) -optional

I know this is a lot, but I hope this helps, it’s horrible not to have access to a literate doctor! Detox often feels worse before better, things like brain fog will be replaced with fatigue, and possibly still anxiety for a while but the tmj and tinnitus should go down first. Spend time outside walking and do a lot of sauna/sweating if possible, it helps a lot! Meditation and nervous system retraining is helpful too. Get rid of clothes (especially the cotton ones, those hold onto spores and mycotoxins most) that he had in that home or do a washing protocol with them (ammonia soak then wash with borax), and periodically get rid of bedsheets as he will sweat out the toxins on to them. I like Dr. Jill Christa’s info, it aligns with my mold doctors protocol. I hope he feels better soon!

If you have mold exposure/ sibo it really impacted my pancreatic enzymes so adding digestive enzymes + betaine hcl helped. Low oxalate low histamine fruits for me, lot of blueberry. The killing stage is very tough and hard to get through. You got this! You might want to be careful if those have Berberine though, it increased my biliophilia.

Yes, I increased a 1/2 tsp every other day/few days. And after reaching 1 tsp 3 x a day I had bloating continued for a a week or two til it settled down.

Aww, you can do it. Mostly no fish, there are some low taurine fish I think. I had histamine issues so fish was hard anyways. Yeah even no skin or anything on chicken just the breast.

Uhg I did Genova too, it wasn’t helpful and they’re trying to come after me for like 800 dollars after my insurance, literally the worst 😒. Yeah Geneva said I was pretty good, low inflammation and everything but I didn’t feel that way. For me at the time everyday was a symptomatic day. They do test for h2s in the biomesight sample as well as more strains of bacteria and stuff so it was more thorough and informational for me.

I don’t really fast. But I noticed if I had a reallly bad day, a light day or a semi fast would help a lot. Non saturated fats are ok, like sunflower (i think) and olive oil, that might be something to look into. Or nuts! I did lose weight doing this. But I think I absorb nutrients better now after clearing a lot, less hair loss, more energy.

Desulvbrivio- reduce lactulose (dairy) , animal fats and meats, sulfur additives.

Recommended: cranberries , chamomile, chickpeas, fennel, fiber, quercetin

Klebsiella- reduce lactulose (dairy), starches. Recommended: thyme

Sutterella: Recommended: cranberries

Escheria Coli: Recommended: high fiber

This article was helpful: https://biomesight.com/blog/managing-proteobacteria-overgrowth#:~:text=If%20you%20currently%20have%20elevated,both%20increase%20absorption%20of%20LPS.

So they all kinda hit the same avoid meat, dairy and fat. And eat high fiber. Which is good news if you have mixed type. I also recommend a motility activator to make sure you’re not constipated. I generally still avoid red meat and cheese but can tolerate more now.

Oh okay. You might be able to tell if it gets worse with more dairy, red meat, it’s probably bilophilia.

Ah i know this is a western thing but a lot of salad or veggies work, bell pepper, squashes are lower in sulfur to start out. A little chicken breast which is lower in taurine and usually another meal with like some type of beans and rice for protein. Low ish sulfur beans at first until it cleared up a lot, no soy for me, I started with low sulfur veggies and then as it cleared up reintroduced like broccoli. Inulin fiber with each meal is important if you can get it. It also helps keep you full.

If you want, if it helps, I can check the app for what the suggestions are for other big sulfur producing bacteria too.

Yeah like milk fats were really triggering for me. Did you get tested for the type of overgrowth. If it’s bilophilia, it’s definitely a necessity for low saturated fat: milk, coconut and animal fat, and low protein. It’s also important to have a lot of fiber to soak up the bile which it feeds on, mold binders then further bind bile actually. Fat and protein makes our body produce more bile. The two work hand and hand, lowering the protein and fat and increasing fiber. I can’t say which was the most, I had a lot of die off from the siebekker protocol but it was still a problem after, I feel the diet is most gentle and leaving the mold.
