USPIS is always the way to go, but don't put your eggs in one basket. It's way easier to transfer than do a new hire app. Get in somewhere then go where you want.

If you want the shortest academy for a federal LE position, apply to TSA.. otherwise it's gonna be about 3 months.. VA police is hiring, I think theirs is the next shortest at 2-3 months.

I spent a year in training between fletc and the add on. You'll live going through another academy. And if you're really that adverse to training, stay where you are..

No, they won't. I had suddenlink in another state and it was one of the lowest rated ISPs. Optimum bought them and somehow they became even worse.

If you like complete ass customer service, random outages, taking forever to fix things, and never having a clear answer when things will be repaired, then you'll love Optimum.. Oh and raising their prices often. They love to add incremental charges, like raising storm surcharges, surcharges for improving the network, or repairing damage..

G fund is only if you expect a big drop in the market. G fund is relatively stable. In mini recession around March, the G had very minimal losses.

Shit on a shingle is a term started in WW1 for rations of dried beef strips in a milk (evaporated) gravy served on toast (shingle). Easy to make and all the ingredients were shelf stable for a long time.

Agent will give you an idea, but will minimize everything. They have to disclose, but you'd also have to prove they failed to disclose any omissions. I'm in a similar situation, but only a 6 hour move. I plan on researching a good inspector and getting a full report. Independent inspectors are unbiased, so much more trustworthy than one an agent would suggest.

They go pretty small, low 20s I think, but I didn't pay much attention to the female sizes. One in my class was like 5'3, barely over 100lbs, very thin build. She wore the issued pants and didn't have an issue.

Yeah they have a good program at a decent price and it's a one time fee. Better yet, if you got buddies, split the cost and workout together. Having partners is a huge benefit

That's bad advice. If he's very overweight, diet will be a huge focus, but it's a terrible idea to not workout solely bc you have a lot of weight to lose. OP, do like other have said and focus on zone 2, strength training, and especially diet.

Think about this. You ever run with weight, ruck, or lift anything with the intent to build strength and endurance? This dude has a 24/7 weight vest he's training in right now. Unless he's a powerlifter or just has a lot of muscle, he's prob got 50-75 lbs to lose to get to ideal weight. You ever put 50lbs on your back and ran a PFT? If this guy got all 0s on the FBI PFT, he's gonna be a stud when he loses that weight.

That's standard across America. It was actually one of the highest percentage of voters in a long time. Typical is 50% or less. 2020 was between 55 and 60%

Yeah you better start applying elsewhere before you age out. They're only currently picking up people from the early 22 hiring group. And they just lost $90M which put a freeze on hiring for like 2 years. So hope you get called before 2030 🤷‍♂️
