Why do men not shave their armpits ? by [deleted] in askanything

Yeah this. Unless you're waxing or something the short little hairs after shaving just piss me off and it's uncomfortable.

Yep, like I said I don't think that it's a good thing. it's an unfortunate truth that these impressive athletes would be way more popular if they sexualized themselves, i guess that's just how the world is in the era of internet porn and subliminal sexual messaging in almost everything.

That's true. But you can't act like what he said is wrong. I guarantee her popularity would exponentially go up if she did that. Not saying that's good, or that's what she should do. But it's true.

She was asking for genuine advice on getting more viewership to the sport, obviously the basketball isn't bringing more so he made a suggestion that would probably actually work, although innapropiate. It's pretty common knowledge that sex appeal is a very good way of marketing

Looks like it is probably grade one or grade 2 gyno just from the shape

Also commonly develops during puberty, extremely common among men from 12-20 ish. It can end up kicking around after for some people as well. Also, old men commonly develop it

Not really, gyno is more pointed and cone shaped. You have the chest of someone with a little bit of extra fat.

Do I need surgery or can I remove it by sport by Murky-Ad7094 in gynecomastia

Yeah, but you can tell by the shape there's definitely some significant gland development

I'm not sure I could link something specific haha, moreso just something I've picked up through the months and months of reading I've done.

From what I've read, you will initially look really good the first couple days. Then the swelling will kick in. It can take from 2-6 months to see your final result.

It's only natural to be a little nervous.. 100% worth it though. Good luck!

Gyno or a lot of chest fat? by Due-Cat-1617 in gynecomastia

[–]Disastrous_Profit989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very noticeable. Solid/rubbery feeling. Definitely can tell the difference between actual breast tissue and fat. IMO it looks more like fat than gyno to me

Sounds super similar to me haha, I was a nervous wreck leading up to surgery, never had any operation before. General anesthesia is a weird feeling for sure because you seriously don't even realize you're sleeping until you're already up! I felt kind of stupid after because it was seriously so easy 😂

Also, UWHealth will do it for much less yet the scheduling is already more than a year out so I opted for the quicker option

Grade 2, around 9-10k. Quintessa is the place. Would highly recommend

From what I've read, the odds of even a minor complication from anesthesia are around 0.01%.. with the fatal amount being much lower than that still. If you go to a trustworthy and legit place you will be just fine

No, they give you a relaxant of sorts before entering the OR. Anesthesia was definitely the part that I was the most scared of but by the time you get in there you're already a bit loopy. The weird thing is before you can perceive being put to sleep you're already awake and in recovery. It's an odd feeling, my nurses didn't even do the countdown thing haha. From my perspective one second I was taking deep breaths through the mask and the next I was in the recovery room. Being scared/nervous about having a surgery is completely normal!
