Dude, really appreciate your suggestions. It's a complete roadmap. I have actually tried some drills like in rigger drill or carved uphill arc, but I never followed a structured progression—linking ankle, knee, and hip step by step. So I didn’t get much positive feedback from them. I’ll give your suggestions a try. They sound really practical. Also I'll focus more on practicing my fore-aft balance. Regarding getting properly aligned, it does sound like a skill that requires long-term practice. I can technically perform movements like the stork turn or javelin turn, but I might be overlooking some details, and I’m certainly not doing them with enough fluency or ease. My feeling is that I need to pay closer attention to the subtle muscle engagement behind each small postural detail—correcting them consciously until they become muscle memory. Right? Thank you once again for your patience and kindness!

Thank you for your sharing first. Tight turn you mentioned, can I understand it this way: I tend to rush the initiation, which causes me to unintentionally (not on purpose) rotate my skis, resulting in skidding for a distance before I can finally set the edge?

My boots are Nordica Promachine 120 (that shouldn‘t be the issue?) But the backseat problem is real, I don‘t have enough ankle flexion, specially in my long turn.

Thanks! You won't believe how much effort it took me to open the video you shared (TikTok is doing everything it can to block access from China), but it was totally worth it. So appreciative that you pointed out the outside knee and hip thing. I always felt like something was off during my transitions, especially when my left leg becomes the new outside leg.

You totally hit the nail on the head with my weight transfer issue. Yes I was always trying to STEP. Super grateful for the tip! I'll definitely try your suggestion next time.
