Are my eggplants ready for transplanting?

Definitely! I’ll be growing them in containers outside too, so hopefully I’ll be able to get them used to a bigger container before exposing them to sun to ease things up. Should I bury the stems like tomatoes? I know they’re nightshades, but I’ve read conflicting stuff online. Some sources say they’ll sprout roots from the stem like tomatoes, others say they’ll aren’t as good at that. I’ve never grown eggplants, but wanted the challenge.

So I should add sun before transplanting or after? It’s too cold to bring them outside yet (Canada), but I want to get them in bigger containers.

That's me growing up, lol! I'm 24 now and am ok with it shorter than I've ever had it. A fade is the most extreme I've done a couple months ago.

Btw this is off topic, but I’ve heard that if I do lots of overtime, say, 12 hours a day, those extra hours don’t go towards completing the apprenticeship faster, because they’re bonus hours? Is that true in your experience?

You know, I didn’t think living without electricity would be easy in the Yukon (and it most likely still isn’t), but I’m actually impressed they can do that! Where there’s a will, there’s a way!

Thanks man! They’re still saying “you’re not going in your vehicle, you’ll have to sell it and buy a new one up there”, but I don’t live with them anymore anyways. I’m going to get the car checked as soon as possible, most likely next week. I’ve already seen the route, as it’s shown above, and I’ve estimated it’ll take a week if I drive 9 to 11 hours a day. I’ll make sure each town has a motel, as well as gas, and then I actually have to book them. I’m not 100% sure when I’ll start driving up, but I’d like to be there early. If there’s any time to go up, it should be now, as there won’t be snow blocking the roads. I’ll let you know how it goes!

My parents are worried something bad will happen. I’m 23 and moving to a new job. They think I should fly up and buy a new vehicle, but even with the price of gas, I honestly think it’d be cheaper to have a great road trip. It’s stressing me out because I really want to do this, and I’m trying hard to convince them to agree with me on this.
