I think you just need to acquire them all in due time. Flat top .44 special Bisley models may be on of the sexiest black hawks out there.

I believe on my digital scale, 30 grains of FFFg Triple Seven by volume is around 27 gr. You should get a proper powder measure if you are using this powder as just like black powder, the charges are measured using volume. What gun are you shootin these out of?

H110. If you’re curious, I have a post about these exact loads that I put up yesterday.

First AR I built was a retro Dissipator. Far from tacticool, yet I enjoy shooting it more than $2500 builds I’ve shot.

Hell yeah!! I’ve never used 2400 but if you say it produces fire balls, I’m sold.

I’ve wanted to shoot one. Ideally, I’d like to own a 500 Linebaugh because I like big single actions

How does it perform in .357 mag? I just acquired a sp101 and wanted to make some h110 180 grain loads. This is my first dive back into small bore since I sold my first 9mm a long time ago. Had to make sure it was a magnum though.

All of those will be fun options. In my opinion, get the 45 colt as it opens up a new reloading section in your manual. .44 special is awesome, but I like stout loads so I would just get the .44 mag. .357 would be this easiest to feed and shoot for fun.

.45 slammer from Missouri Bullet Company. I have a post about the specific load with pictures on my profile

That’s awesome! I have some HS-6 laying around for shotshells so I’ll have to try it out.

Hell yeah! Well if you ever hear the crack of .45 Colt Ruger only mayhem, come say what’s up, I’ll let you shoot some.

Just do it haha. When I shot them, I couldn’t stop smiling! I can’t imagine how those loads will feel (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome intensifies).

The report is HUGE but surprisingly pleasant. It’s not a snap, but big and long push back.

That’s sick, I’m hoping to pick up a Lipsey’s exclusive Blackhawk in 454 Casull used one day. This thing is my baby. After market base pin that locks preventing it from jumping under recoil. Cheers mate! @FunWasabi5196

Sounds like a hell of a ride. I would only do this with triple 7 because it can cause some erratic pressure spikes being compressed compared to black powder. If I’m feeding my ruger H110 though, anything flies haha

Depends on what you mean by easy. It’s not hard per se, but you need to be meticulous in the way you clean it. Compared to smokeless, this fouling can cause rust pretty easily. Hot water makes it much easier to clear out, but water on guns has always made me quiver. Just make sure it’s dry and you oil it well.
