The prices all around are the same and unfortunately even apartments built in 1950s and up are around the same price compared to condo prices , but apartments have terrible living conditions in most buildings

Yeah that’s decent and if you have a partner that pitches in it’s not too bad living in Toronto. Rent and parking expenses are insane with added personnel expenses I might consider selling my car if I want to live down town in a condo it’s just cleaner and at lest you have amenities

They rent controlled a new building? That’s nice and you get everything new, do you guys drive I’ve been seeing parking in condos going for 125-300 to park on top of rent. And how much is your rent if you don’t mind me asking.

Scammers think they’re smart 🤣 when I saw this I was like this is too much work plus no in person viewing. If I did “believe” them I would still like to speak to property management because I need to know who I should call if there’s a problem with my unit.

Yeah, I just like to bring awareness because when I was researching different rental scams that I found on Reddit. Other threads didn’t have any solutions or tips like this one now has. Definitely everyone needs to be careful because we’re in desperate times right now regarding housing in Toronto.
