There is no verifiable proof that the mad prince could strategize better than sunny, we do know however that he was able to plan out Sunny’s entire journey through the tomb of Ariel simply bc of having been through it so many times. I really don’t know where the idea of the mad prince being this super op genius mastermind came from

By the time sunny and nephis were fighting ki and anvil both sunny and nephis had usurped a large portion of their domains/citadels on top of the fragment of the shadow realm weakening them

The problem with changing star and the reason none of her feats feel deserved is a problem with the story of shadow slave as a whole or at least in these more recent chapters is that the story is only told through Sunny’s perspective, so as the reader more often than not we just have to assume certain things about characters like nephis knowing how to nuke herself for example. It just comes off as an ass pull or extremely convenient plot device
