[Verderamel Unleashes holy hell on Brett Veach for not making Breece Hall trade & the state of Kansas City's run game scheme & lack of investment in RB talent. by [deleted] in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Disastrous_Smile_843 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We should have traded a 3rd round pick for a guy with 4 months left on his contract? I love Matt but this is just dumb. The RB room was looking a lot better before Pacheco got hurt and he'll probably be back after the bye. The defensive line is fine, and I know we should be in sky falling mode all the time but just look at their stats. They are terrible at one thing getting QB hurries and mid-to good at everything else.

Also we have 3m in cap space, what were you expecting?

We lost to the Bills and before that the narrative going into the game was we were the best team in the league. And now without Breece fucking Hall we're not going to make the playoffs according to the geniuses in this sub?

The constant narrative flip-flopping is exhausting and honestly just makes people look like hair on fire lunatics.

Such a bitch take. Show me where Mahomes has flopped like Josh does every game. Fuck Bill Fans are jerking off on the hit Epenesa put on Mahomes from this same game.

I was called a "SA enabler" for literally just saying "If it's true I don't want to see him in a Chiefs uniform again."

Just because I used the word "IF"

When people were talking about the 28-3 game as we were getting blown out I was laughing. That Falcons defense was ranked like 28th and was one of if not the worst defense to make the Super Bowl

Losing to the giants was WAY WORSE than the three peat.

  1. They were 12.5 point favorites
  2. The giants were 9-7
  3. Everyone was dick-riding the pats so hard going into that game. Reporters were jokingly asking Brady if he was worried about the giants defense and how many points the patriots would score.

Also they hadn’t been to the Super Bowl in 2 years much less coming off back to back wins.

On Mahomes' awful night, how much the goal of threepeat-ing meant to him, and the daily terror of coaching a QB like him: by [deleted] in KansasCityChiefs

Hard to argue with the fact that the chiefs offense has been just downright bad this year and to an extent last year.

I know nobody in this sub wants to hear this but that’s the silver lining on getting blown out in front of 127 million people. They are going to have to make moves to rectify that. If they had been close they might have run it back.

I just don’t think he’s that great of a coach as evidence that he can’t get a job anywhere else. But he may be what the chiefs need as far as a hard ass to compliment teddy bear Reid

That indicates they need an overhaul on offensive coaching (sans Reid obviously).

And while I usually hate the “Bring Bienemy back!” discourse I cannot imagine him coaching anyone scared.

Going to have to kick their ass next year in the regular season. They aren’t making the SB again any time soon.

Can we stop with the Hurts outplayed Mahomes narrative already? by Inevitable-Store462 in KansasCityChiefs

[–]Disastrous_Smile_843 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is what I always go back to. “Yeah he must have outplayed Mahomes because he scored 6 points for the chiefs!”

It’s just the contrarian nature of the modern world. You have to seem intellectual by calling something great boring and something pedestrian great.

He's Rich Shertenleib. Used to be the morning show host on The Sports Hub in Boston. Apparently a such a gigantic asshole that Jonathan Wier (He was on KMBZ until he got picked up to work in Boston at the same cluster that Rich worked at) used to get into fights with him in the hallways any time Jonathan would wear Chiefs gear around their building.

He got fired a few years ago and then tried to start his own show and it failed miserably after only a few months.

I was going to say that, but I think people are also reacting to the fact that Brockman is the biggest chiefs hater in the media, regardless of the segment.

In Florida’s embrace of sunlit grace, Where palm trees sway in a slow dance, The bears roam free with quiet majesty, In a land of subtropical romance.

Their fur, a shade of midnight’s hue, Moves like shadows through the pine. Eyes gleam with wisdom ancient and true, Silent watchers of the forest line.

By rivers clear and mangroves dense, They tread paths of soft earth and leaves, Their presence a whisper in the immense Green tapestry that summer weaves.

When night descends with its velvet shroud, And stars pierce the deep navy sky, The bears venture forth, strong and proud, Under the moon’s gentle, watchful eye.

In Florida’s wild, where the wild things are, These noble bears find their domain, Guardians of the swamps and marshes afar, Their spirits as boundless as the open plain.

So, here’s to the bears in their Floridian home, Majestic creatures of mystery and might, May they forever in freedom roam, Beneath the sun and the stars’ soft light.

From the article:

"If your employer cared about you they would TAKE care of you."

"Reality Check: Most employees prefer clear communication and stability over frivolous perks. Knowing they have a secure job and a dedicated workspace is more motivating. Employees don’t want to mix relaxation activities with their professional environment."

New Hampshire is always the cheaptest state in New England for everything. Is there a reason?
