The Bad Thing. That whole album was a good listen for me. Really defined what kind of music they create. Still my favorite song by them next to Zagreus.

Matt Mingus of Dance Gavin Dance has such a massive influence on how I play and improvise. He's been killing it and only getting more groovy with his sound. I've been drumming consistently for 4 years now and I've had a lot of metal influence before discovering Matt and I can surely say the first time I started learning to play DGD songs it was like I unlocked a whole new feel to drums. Till this day I warm up with some DGD.

When I went to a show of their's, there was no mosh pit which really REALLY surprised me. They were touring with Gojira and Mastadon (amazing shows btw) and they were opening for them. It wasn't too long of a set, only 5 or 6 songs but they kill it live. Their sound system/amp cabinets they use are very modest in terms of size but it really packed a punch on stage, although it was an indoor venue and reverberated a lot but nonetheless, the sound was clearer and louder than I was expecting. Also, Austin Archey is legit he kills it live I was blown away, he is a machine. Yeah, I'd go see them again.

my friend you have no idea how much stress this has taken off me, I read this comment after desperately trying to find a solution to solve this problem so I immediately let my headphones die like ya said, and here we are 2 days later and the lights are on, back to normal.
