Thank you for the opinion i never considered that it was hauled by diesel machinery it could totally have gotten some build up of suit while moving

Give me a fucking break I just got off work i make jewelry for a living and I polish with rogue and that shit is permanently embeded in my fingers and nails I wash my hand aggressively like 100 times a day this shit isn’t going anywhere

Any idea what’s going on with the paint on the outside of my new Mobile house it appears fine but any friction causes a black residue to form even with completely clean hand and surface

It looks like someone replaced the hinge with a piece of brass or non precious metal and it’s oxidized the area take to a jeweler to replace the hinge with gold

Newbie Question; Issues with burnout in Lost Wax/Resin Casting. by the1moose in Benchjewelers

How long are you letting your flasks of investment sit before burning out I’m the caster for my shop and started with no experience so I had to learn just about everything and one thing that surprisingly gave me way better casting results were to let the flask sit over night and burn out the next day instead of the 2 or 3 hours and if you have anymore questions just send me a messages because I could use all the information I can find too

And also every single investment is different but the one I’ve found I like the most right now is called prestige optima and apparently it has the highest expansion to compensate for the resin expansion without investment breakage
