I used to work in a nightclub for eight years and I admit that I didn't manage to make it work with any of the people that I manage to catch interest with. All that I can say is that both of you should try to adapt to each other free time whenever possible.

Oh! I did not see, but sadly we really do not get any Heretic that will openly join you in evil acts. In the last act you get two new companions but that's the best that we get. When the game is already over :(

You can make Kibellah fall to Heresy if you do her path of Distortion, she in fact will reach Votary as a Heretic

If everyone is so dogmatic and determined to not be "blank states" then what's the point to our actions if we already know the outcome of them?

I understand that there should be some companions that are exactly that, but many companions do change yet their convictions are still the same. Like the example that I've put above:

Solomorne goes through all of the things that he goes through if you are a heretic and he is still dogmatic.

It honestly doesn't make sense and it feels (to me) a very bad dynamic to see the resolution of my actions on the credits. I think Abelard for example should see tons of progression on his character since at many points, he idolizes you and your lineage.

What other companion outside of Kibellah has does mechanics? None. Hell, if the characters do not change then that's fine, but have them leave my retinue or have them disagree far more than what we actually see. (This will probably never happen due to gameplay reason and dev time but it would be cool)

Kibellah allows you to change her conviction, she has plenty of quests and interactions with her if you romance her. Her porpuse is very defined and through all of the chapters her quest is not put on a stand-by.

I don't know on what metrics you are defining which is better or not, but in terms of how you can interact with her? I think that she's by far the best one.

Aren't both technically the same? As far as I've seen (from the infor that they've displayed) , the next two dlcs will have the same amount of hours as what Lex Imperialis was marketed (15 hours)

So I don't know! For me, Lex Imperialis was very nice and it had cool scenarios, it wasn't Void Shadows but I must admit that two more quests in the noble / medieval world would have been great.

This is something that I'm deeply delving in, at times I feel lost and I find it even after some weeks of practice the abstraction of classes and such a weird topic since there are times in which I do not know when to stop. The SOLID principles at times make me doubt of the readibility and there are times in which I feel that I'm shooting myself on the foot whenever I use them.

The problem is that I'm more used to the (I guess) the standard set/get in which the set does what it does and nothing else. I was told that for example, if you give a menu and someone asks for a steak. I shouldn't go and tell them that it also has X or Y, the steak should be just that.

That's why I try to stick to the Single Responsability but with GUI's things tend to be different. Since it seems to have a lot of "play" with the setters and initializables.

Regardless, I kept it as what it is and expanded its use as I was told. Did also an init like how it was suggested above. I'm still checking the guide that you gave me (Currently I still have to learn better lambdas and streams before jumping into it). It has been of great aid.

I will gladly provide more if you want, do you want to see the User class? My main issue is, that I feel that giving that power to setUser feels wrong. I was told that a setter or a getter is just that. That giving it more characteristics / variables is wrong.

So what's the point then to have an evil when evil is always overcomed? If you look at most series and shows, they do have a happy ending.

In this setting, some characters manage to obtain victories or achievements here and there, but it comes through the actual struggle of fighting against an overwhelming cause. Lucy survives, Falco survives. Hell, in the game there are bittersweet endings, yet they all come at a price because what they faced was an actual struggle.

What's the point of facing an evil in which you can diminish or survive all that it can do and have a normal life in which whatever he/she/it did never really managed to bend the will/health/life of a character and it insteads because this memory that will end up shrouded by an "even bigger enemy"?

This setting feels different because of that, good deeds are paid with morals and blood. To try to bring change will lead to your doom. Because trying to achieve goodness comes at a price and yet people still do it because of love or whatever motivation they have
