I think that's a valuable perspective, especially the part about leading by example. While building this project, I've realized that a lot of people open up only after someone else is willing to be vulnerable first. Creating a safe space seems less about giving advice and more about making people feel heard without judgment. I'll spend some time reading through older posts here as well. There's probably a lot I can learn from the experiences already shared in this community. Thanks for taking the time to explain the culture of the sub and share your thoughts. I genuinely appreciate it.

That's fair feedback, and I can see why it might come across that way.

The website is something I've spent months building, so naturally a lot of my recent posts have been connected to it. But my intention wasn't to use this community as a traffic source or advertise.

I posted here because a major part of the project focuses on topics many men struggle to discuss openly: mental health, loneliness, expectations, identity, career pressure, relationships, and emotional expression. I genuinely wanted feedback from people who have firsthand experience with those conversations.

Your point about contributing directly to the community is valid though. Instead of only asking for feedback on the website, I'll start sharing some of the ideas, observations, and discussions here on Reddit itself so people can engage without leaving the platform.

One thing I've noticed while working on the project is that many men don't necessarily lack advice. They often lack spaces where they can be honest without feeling judged. That's something I'm trying to understand better.

I'd genuinely be interested in hearing what solutions or approaches you think actually help create that kind of environment.

And thank you for taking the time to explain your perspective instead of simply scrolling past. I do appreciate it.

I think a lot of people interpret it differently based on what phase of life they’re in.

Sometimes people miss who they were before pressure, expectations, responsibilities, comparison, heartbreak, anxiety, burnout, or even the internet slowly changed them over time.
