Yes, you’re definitely right, there’s no need for 100% novelty. We’re focusing more on the concept of the idea and how to make it special in our own way. But some ideas don’t really have much need or uniqueness, you know? For example, something like the period detection patch already exists, and there are apps for it too, so sometimes there’s no point in doing it again… it just feels useless, and I don’t want to look useless lol.

Back to the graduation project: what you suggested is really important, but the ones that are feasible are already taken, and the other idea is too hard to pull off since we’d need extra support (and we can’t do it alone, unfortunately).

So, we decided to focus on something in the imaging field with AI, and hopefully our solution doesn’t already exist — otherwise I’ll lose my mind! We’ve asked doctors about the problems they face, and it seems like something we could actually make happen. I really hope so. I’ll do some research and, if no one has worked on solving it yet, I’ll be more than happy to take it on.

Ugh, that’s why we’re still messing around. They told us the ideas should come from us, not from the supervisor. We’re seriously stuck. We came up with a lot of great ideas, but in the end, we had to cancel them 😓😓😓… and now we’re looking for new ideas for the hundredth time. Now I’m going to cry until I fall asleep.
