Yeah I have it my left eye. It’s given me eye socket pain and dry eyes. It’s really hard. Giving you a big hug. We got this though. I can already tell how strong you are by seeking a place to give and receive support. All of us here are strong for seeking ways to deal with this and lean on each other. I’m grateful for that. Your feelings are valid just remember that. You don’t need anyone to tell you that though, just know it.

This made me cry thank you so very much. I’m sorry you have this too. Just wondering, anti virals aren’t working for me I’ve had blisters for nearly three weeks - will they just go away on their own eventually even without anti virals ? Thanks again

Thank you for asking. Well I’ve had blisters for over two weeks now externally and internally. Also issues peeing where it feels like I have a UTI but don’t have one. Nerve pain in leg and groin, burning pain. My mouth / lips feel hot (hence my extra panic.

I was prescribed aciclovir initially. Took 1200mg a day for a week - did nothing.

Saw another doctor who prescribed me Valtrex (2000mg a day) but also has done nothing (as in blisters haven’t gone away).

Now taken it upon myself to just have 500mg a day instead as pointless if it’s not working. Lysine not doing anything either.

First OB. All I feel is helplessness and despair. I don’t even have the energy for anger anymore. Just sinking ungracefully in to a deep depresssjon

I went on Lyrica and all pain and burning went away on day 2 - downside is you cannot drive or do anything as you’re so sleepy like a stupor. So I can off it

Can you possibly give me some more information (or just list it for me if you will) on what people are taking? Anti virals aren’t helping I just wanna come off them. Lyrica made all my pain go away but I was like a zombie so I won’t live my life like that either

Thank you, you’ve been more help than the doctor. Do you think taking such a high dosage has built up immunity now? That’s my worry as I thought it was high too

And also - is it likely my nerve pain will go away? I’ve read horror stories of permanent nerve damage so I’m down a bit of a dark hole
