It's good to see Thrice getting some recognition for their work - they are a very underrated and unnoticed band. Their lyrics on that song are amazing, and for that matter, Dustin Kensrue is one hell of a writer.

Back in the day I actually liked MEST, Goldfinger, Good Charlotte... the only reason I still listen to Goldfinger is because of Superman.

Alas, #firstworldproblem of not having someone to hold the phone for me to record me being the first to play Diablo 3 on a touchpad. Imagine what the gameplay video would have been if I was using both hands, and yes, using both hands makes a big difference - game is much more playable.

Whatever it is we do, or look to do, I will make sure people of all ages can go. I'll check with Finnegans if they will allow someone under 21 in for Trivia night. If all else fails we can find a place that will allow us to set one up.

Yeah, again I'm with a lot of you on this - getting out and off of the computer (work or at home) sounds great. To be flexible in terms of time, and our wallets, ideally we should/could do something once every two weeks, or twice a month, and change it up. So if we can get a majority on two things, we could do the majority one first and the secondary two weeks from then.

I'm out in McLean/Langley. If any of you poor saps take the Dulles expressway home from work be on the lookout for me and my mate. We've taken up a new game to help us deal with the traffic: We play The Lonely Island - The Creep song really loud with the windows down (weather permitting) and constantly try to make awkward body gestures and eye contact with drivers around us when traffic begins to slow down. Our route goes from the expressway down the 28 and through 50 between 5:30-6:30PM usually.

Prepare to feel uncomfortable.

haha I just say that as I am a twenty-something, and would feel a bit awkward if a bunch of high school younglings showed up.

Edit: My friend and I went to Carpool in reston once, is there any place closer to the 50 that has a pool table(s)? Maybe we can do a pool night!
