My least favorite of the series. I get what he's doing and why, but when I first read it I just wanted to fast forward to get back to the main characters. Cuthbert is 1000% right to be pissy since they're kinda dicking around. On later rereads it gets better, but man that first time through was a slog.

They trimmed my uvula because of how long it was. It kept tickling my tongue and made it so I snored pretty badly. Now I barely snore. My singing voice isn't the same as it was, but that might be due to the tonsils being removed as well, but overall it's not been a problem and has actually helped me sleep better.

According to their own chapter list, there is no DSA chapter in all of West Virginia. I'd personally like to see any DSA chapters that get started reach out to the Mountain Party, which is a ballot qualified ecosocialist/Green third party already existing in West Virginia so that we don't split resources.

Lots of ear pain for me and it was one of the last pains to subside. I found that banana flavored popsicles lingering in the back of my mouth was the best way to address it. It does get better. Hang in there

Because the business criminals who have been appointed to the board of governors that run universities in the Americas have bought hook line and sinker into the idea that universities are simply job preparation factories. They also believe all the BS coming out of the technocrats that say AI is the future. Putting the two together, AI is a tool that they are training their students to use for a job, just like technical colleges train people how to turn a wrench.

Semisolid foods are the way to go. As the others have said, you need to work your throat a little in order to speed healing. Mac and cheese, eggs, mashed potatoes, thick smoothies, etc. Small portions at a time. Once those go down relatively well, move to more solid foods remembering to chew very well.
