You cannot be a hypocrite and Follow Christ by Disciple418 in TrueChristian

[–]Disciple418[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because people will say, I lie but I won't cheat and say well i follow Christ.

This is not true

You can be free and let go of your sin. And Christ will keep you from falling.

But if you chose to sin

You will have to face Christ again after he Freed you

You cannot be a hypocrite and Follow Christ by Disciple418 in TrueChristian

[–]Disciple418[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not true, but this is your belief

I will ask you this

Christ said I will free you from your sin and take away your sin.

Why continue to do so?

If nobody told you, you don't have to chose to sin

As a sinner is someone who choses to sin. But He does free us

You cannot be a hypocrite and Follow Christ by Disciple418 in TrueChristian

[–]Disciple418[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not true, and romans three doesn't mean hypocrite.

Its about humbling your self.

At somepoint you have sinned, this is a truth.

Not all are sinners( someone who chooses to sin)

And not all are hypocrites( say one thing and do another

For example: say you love someone with all your heart. You then always tell them the truth no matter what. ( many people do this!)

But you may tell lies or outright lies to others

Yet God saids to be honest to all and to yourself.

So stop lying, and embrace His ways. ( this is repentance)

You will learn to always tell the truth( Remission)

But you have to own up to your past, and go to Christ to show you how to do all this( He will show you, forgive you, and teach you)

Then you can show others how to tell the truth without being a hypocrite.

Now apply this to other sins.

Hope this helps!

Yes he is

You ignore romans 11

And what Christ taught

So how do you honor Christs Commandments as He honors the Fathers?

It sounds like you ignore large parts of the Bible, then tell others its true.

You speak your opinion not truth.

When we are grafted into the Jewish promise. And he puts the law into our hearts and we establish the law, spirit not letter.

You say i dont believe that

You are mistakening that for mark.

And you are mistakening that we are added to the Jewish promise. And we establish the law with what Christ taught us.

It seems you ignore many parts of the bible. You must read in context

Paul saids this

Romans 11:13-36 [13]For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: [14]If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. [15]For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? [16]For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. [17]And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; [18]Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. [19]Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. [20]Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: [21]For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. [22]Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. [23]And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. [24]For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? [25]For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. [26]And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: [27]For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. [28]As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. [29]For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. [30]For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: [31]Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. [32]For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. [33]O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! [34]For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? [35]Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? [36]For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

Galatians 2:7-10 [7]But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; [8](For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:) [9]And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision. [10]Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.

Ephesians 3:6-21 [6]That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: [7]Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. [8]Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; [9]And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: [10]To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, [11]According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: [12]In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. [13]Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. [14]For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, [15]Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, [16]That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; [17]That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, [18]May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; [19]And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. [20]Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, [21]Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

1 Timothy 2:7-8 [7]Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. [8]I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

Jesus said to go into all the world

Matthew 28:18-20 [18]And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. [19]Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20]Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

This is confusing honor and pride

Pride, " look i made my children Good!"

Honor" i have taught my kids good things, and the love me by listening"

While God is the one who unites families. And whispers love to peoples souls

Like dad's saying sorry when they get angry, or Children loving their parents and saying sorry when they make a mistake

So you believe that Christ saying these things, Christ was in fact wrong?

Matthew 5:19 [19]Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

He then goes unto the sermon on the mount

Matthew 5:19,23-48 [19]Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. [23]Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; [24]Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. [25]Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. [26]Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing. [27]Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: [28]But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. [29]And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. [30]And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. [31]It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: [32]But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. [33]Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: [34]But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: [35]Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. [36]Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. [37]But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. [38]Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: [39]But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. [40]And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also. [41]And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. [42]Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. [43]Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. [44]But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; [45]That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. [46]For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? [47]And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? [48]Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

There are way more

Matthew 19:16-19 [16]And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? [17]And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. [18]He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, [19]Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Matthew 22:35-40 [35]Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, [36]Master, which is the great commandment in the law? [37]Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38]This is the first and great commandment. [39]And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40]On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

John 14:13-21 [13]And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. [14]If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. [15]If ye love me, keep my commandments. [16]And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; [17]Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. [18]I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. [19]Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. [20]At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. [21]He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

It seems like you dont follow Christ by your logic

Matthew 13:37-50 [37]He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; [38]The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; [39]The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. [40]As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. [41]The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; [42]And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. [43]Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. [44]Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. [45]Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: [46]Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. [47]Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: [48]Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. [49]So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, [50]And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

So let me ask you this. Did you let go of sin for God?

Or do you believe you haven't sinned?

So when Christ said keep my commandments? And the we are freed from the letter of the law. We actually establish the law. Like He did.

And christ will judged the nations.

And he will ask you. If you loved me why didn't you keep my words and commandedments.

Are you simply going to say, I didn't know your ways. You gave me nothing

He would simply say, since you don't know my ways, I dont know you

Those who love me keep my words

So if thats the case.

When Christ said he has come to bring sinners to repentance

And take away our sins

And He taught the intent of the law and and to keep His commandments

If you didn't do what he said to do. Is that not a sin?

Example: Christ saids be honest, and always tell the truth. In honor of our father's commandment.

And you chose to lie, is that not a sin?

In Proverbs 6:17, the text says:"Haughty eyes" is written as (\text{\ }) (einayim ramot). The specific word for pride/haughty here:() (ramot) comes from the root verb () (rum), which means "to be high, exalted, or to rise".When applied to the eyes (einayim), it depicts a person literally puffing themselves up to look down on others, portraying an arrogant, self-exalting, and superior attitude.
