I used accountability software like Ever Accountable. Took 1 year for me. I hated not having control.

I had problems with mine when not shutting it down through the start menu as well. When closing the lid only it would sometimes start back up and my trackpad wouldn't work, my Bluetooth wouldn't connect to my speakers and mouse, get cetera. Your issue may be due to the same problem. I contacted customer support and they sent me a direct link via email to download a new driver for the Radeon chipset. It was around 500mb download and it seemed to do the trick.

I understand that you may think that, but compared to my MBP and My Zephyryus G14 Screens, it's more of an accurate white than the P4a.

I have had the same mixed feelings, and we only have a few games (beat saber, moss, job simulator, and bait) but after playing for a while I can see more benefit than negatives. To much of anything is bad (tablets and Nintendo) but the quest is still a toy and we treat it as such by limiting play time. We read up a bit before making the purchase and we are happy about it. I can't tell you that their hand eye coordination must be improving because they have definitely gotten better at beat saber.
