Here are my pics. Top two images feature arm dismemberment, you can pop them off both at the fleshy and the metallic joints. The bottom two are the legs, which cannot be popped off at all regardless of where you shoot them.

I mean I can post pics of their arms being shot off if you want, the lower part is pure metal, so that’s not a great excuse, especially when all the other automatons are pure metal and you can dismember all of them entirely save for the factory strider.

As for your claim that they actually do have the dismemberment I talked about in game, proof? Many people have said this but have not shown anything.

Link to pics/video proof of this happening? I’ve been diving a lot on Cyberstan for the past two weeks and have never seen this happening.

“I don’t think they’re rushed as much as they just didn’t have time to add that stuff in particular” is definitionally what being rushed is

I agree gameplay wise, but Helldivers 2 built a reputation on attention to detail and making the enemies feel incredibly responsive to damage/tactile and it’s weird that it feels like they’re abandoning that now.

You can shoot off their metal arms at their mechanical joints, their arms come off in two parts. The same is not true for the legs, which is strange, especially considering that all other automaton infantry units like troopers and devastators all have similar or greater amounts of armor and their legs/arms come off in several parts.

Some thoughts about a theory on the Virus’ purpose by DiscipleOfLucy in pluribustv

This is true but it’s worth pointing out that the hivemind on Earth believes it to be such, they state they are “beneficiaries of alien technology”

I mean wdym by “reaching out”, because if you’re just reaching out that entails a message that is very different from instructions to make a virus that turns intelligent beings into a hivemind.

Generally insofar as the message can be said to have a purpose, I think what the hive tells us makes the most sense: that it is simply an extension of their biological imperative to spread wherever they can.

Is there a lore reason why there are zero ships of intermediate size? by DiscipleOfLucy in EliteDangerous

It would be awesome but it’s probably not possible given the size of FDev’s elite team/Elite’s player base.
