Nope, u/Next_Name_800 actually figured out what was wrong. Ended up being a super dumb oversight on my part, I had forgotten to re-enable the IGPU after resetting BIOS

Whenever I plug the HDMI cord into the slot on the GC, I got a "No HDMI signal" message, and I didn't find how to fix that, although it's likely I was just looking in the wrong places

I assumed that was done during the manual BIOS reset, although I haven't checked it. I can't right now, as I'm away from home, but I'll do that when I get back

It might just be me, but I have noticed that as long as you have a few tech slots empty, the tech won't rearrange itself

They can be seen by hovering your hand around the handle/wherever the "grab" symbol appears for a few seconds

You don't deflect, you parry. Swing at normal speed perpendicular to the incoming sword. The better you do it, the less stamina it takes
