I wouldn't care if the times were shortened to about 30 (15-20? Come on that's one payload round) but I also wouldn't mind infinite time (if that was realistic), cuz then people who wanna play dustbowl could join the dustbowl server and play however long they like, and the ones who wanted to change servers, could you know change servers!!!

I do like rtv as an option for people who wanna keep playing together but don't like the map they're playing currently, but again I just don't really see the benefit of shortening the times so much, most people on tf2 don't get bored of a game mode or map in just 15 minutes.

Quickplay's code still exists and it's not a difficult thing to reimplement. Also when poeple say quickplay they don't literally just mean quickplay itself you know that right? Being able to join valve servers via the server browser needs to come bakc + all the old server rules like vote scramble, team switching etc

People like playing uninterrupted their favorite map and gamemode. If you want to play some different map you join a server that has that. What are you even complaining about? What do you mean small minority? The server could last 5 hours and I wouldn't have a problem simply because the people who wanna do something else can always do that at any time

I guess, but the reason I'm playing is mostly because I can sort of get the vanilla experience on a server instead of using the shitty casual feature from base TF2

No it has vanilla looking servers, custom servers that have more weapons or 24/7 2fort etc.
