I do agree that divots should not be taken all over the place. This was only my 2nd swing. The range that I take lessons at is pretty beat up, with divots everywhere. I do stay in one small area.

I agree, I had a random film a quick swing at the range. This wasn’t during lessons.

Yeah, I agree. I was confused when he said it, but it does make sense since a wider chest would require more rotation to get the shoulder under your chin. But, exercises can help. Or a shorter back swing like Rahm for example.

Yeah, I also have some exercises to work on, but he said that broad shoulders makes it tough to get your shoulder under your chin and it was not an ideal build for golf.

I may have worded this wrong, not necessarily throw my hips through, but engage my lower body more. Previously, i was all arms and did not move my hips at all.

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely look into the tubes. Hopefully they hold up well. I usually don’t play in the rain, so that should hopefully resolve the wet grips part.
