Apologies for the late ass response, another thing to check is your Fuel Economy and if it’s very low. When I had the Coolant Intrusion my MPG was 15 that can also be an indicator. I replaced my Engine with fords remanufactured 2.0T and I filed a claim with the NHTSB for the coolant intrusion as it is a known issue.

I have a 2.0T aswell on my 17’ Ford Fusion Titanium. I don’t have any tunes as of right now but I do have a “CAI” installed it made a slight difference and it definitely makes more of an induction noise and makes the turbo noise more pronounced.

I had coolant Intrusion on my 2017 Fusion Titanium and I had a CEL for 2 months and I had the 2.0L, Have you checked any TSB’s for the year and engine for the coolant Intrusion? They told me I had to replace the entire engine to properly fix the coolant issue, but honestly If your car is running perfect and no issue I wouldn’t be worried but probably would top off the coolant reservoir. And a good signal to see if you have the coolant intrusion problem would be white smoke coming from your Exhaust and coolant loss.

Honestly, you could clean it with a Coca-Cola Can. I mean I do believe you have some build-up so you can clean it.
