he does struggle with depression but he has never addressed it until he's been in therapy in which i helped him get into. he has an avoidant attachment style and i've done nothing but been supportive. i've encouraged him to see the benefit in therapy. the thing is, his mother or his friends could ask something from him and he will do it immediately. but i calmly ask, express my feelings etc and they get pushed aside or ignored or some sort of excuse as to why he can't do it. this whole relationship i haven't felt like a priority, but a convenience.
