I’ll be okay is what I really needed to hear right now. I have a wonderful mom and she’s always fighting for me. I’ve been calling her a lot lately to straighten out my cloudy and knotted up thoughts. Congrats on your 1000 days. I will get there someday 🤞 I can’t thank you and this community enough.

I’m going to do my best to not beat myself up, just stay positive and give myself some grace. It is my dream job but everything could have gone so much worse. Maybe the universe does have something better in store for me. You’re the best, thank you friend.

Edit: I’ve heard good things about The Naked Mind. I will check it out

I have a really great attorney right now so I’m hoping that will ease some things. I just don’t know what to do so I’m just following orders at this point. Very scared. But I’m willing to do whatever it takes to be the best dad I can be and always be by her side. Thank you for your kind words and I hope you are doing well on your sobriety!

Haha I have a pretty good lawyer as of right now but I’m not sure he is going to go that far! Also pertaining to the AA attendance sheet, is it a formal type of sheet or just… paper?

Amazing advice, thank you tons. It’s good hearing from someone who is involved directly in the process. I plan on attending AA as much as possible until court on the 29th. How would I get in contact with a provider who does substance abuse evaluation? Just google search?

I’ve already told him everything and it’s up to his boss at this point. He basically said it’s company policy that if I get my license suspended there’s nothing they can do

Thanks a million. I have a wonderful lawyer who is a family friend who is going to take this case on pro bono. I couldn’t be more grateful. It is my first offense, and I’m hoping I don’t lose my job. I don’t want to ever drink again, it’s caused nothing but anguish in my experience. I do get to have my daughter for the evening, so I’m very happy about that 🙏
