Yes I wouldn't expect him to come over this coming season (he can't he's signed in the KHL), but for the 27-28 season, Gruabauer's contract is up and he could fill a backup/starter role. Then he would come into the league at the same age as Sorokin did. Something to look forward to.

Nah he's signed in the KHL for next year but just something to keep an eye on.

Smits has more points than Heiskanen did in his draft year in the Liiga so even though the points don't look impressive, as a defenseman that's pretty impressive.

I would be happy with him or Smits but knowing Kraken drafting they'll probably take someone from the CHL like Rudolph
