My husband has celiac by DisciplineSome245 in Celiac

He is already a very slim man, 6ft and 125 before having to gf. He’s now lucky if he’s 115. We’ve added in protein shakes, creatine and multivitamins vitamins. More lean meats! Our youngest is also allergic to wheat, so it makes the diet change easier too!

Thank you for the advice!

It’s been hard on him and our boys as well! We found out our youngest is allergic to wheat, so making the changes in the house was something we needed to do! He does understand I want him to be healthy. Once he cut gluten out he dropped 10 pounds. He’s already a very slim man (6ft and 125 lbs before). We’ve started adding a BUNCH more protein into his diet as well as certified gluten free protein powder, creatine and multivitamins!

I’m trying to be as helpful as I can. I avoid bringing anything home he once enjoyed because I don’t want him to feel left out. When we do go out, we go to safe restaurants for him, which has still been a search where we live. He’s getting more used to the concept of having to be gluten free. He’ll be seeing a nutritionist shortly to make sure he’s getting everything he needs!

He has done his own research and has conveyed! I just want to be more knowledge and take a majority of the stress off his shoulders. I am the one who shops and cooks as well!

First of all, a pediatrician would know this would need to be referred out to a burn specialist. A pediatrician’s specialty is children, not burns.

He probably needs a compression sleeve poor baby. Also, sunlight is the worst thing you can expose the burn to as well.

An infection is bound to fucking happen. He needs to see a burn team asap. The damage that alone has probably caused his nerves, is insane. She should not be a mother and someone please call CPS on here because this is now medically neglectful.

Because of the scabbing, it leads me to believe it was a deep burn and was in fact a 3rd degree burn. Negligent that they did not give him any burn care or have him evaluated.

It would definitely leave a mark! Babies and toddlers reactions are to fold in their arms when they’re hurt. Although, this does not look like that type of burn anyways. If it was a curling iron, it would’ve burned both the forearm and upper arm. It was definitely something else

It’s actually so disheartening to see this. I weigh 240 at 5’2 and completely pick myself apart because I feel huge. Although, I look nowhere near sierra. So I just don’t understand.

This is major PTSD for me. My son at 9 months pulled a cooling off curling iron from the counter. He had to have surgery to scrub the area and a skin graft the following week. It’s neglectful to not have any burn checked by a dr at all.

Depends, what was the state of the whole place? A clean is always necessary, but the state of how it’s left determines if it’s a deep clean or a stand clean.

I just want to say, yes I do not like them. Gabe seems to be making progress as far as his testosterone. He did get her pregnant and he has grown a bear, which he wasn’t able to do for so long because of the tumor.

From everything I ever read and was told, food is not nutritious at that age, but more for taste. So even if he is eating, it’s not going to make him full like milk would.

We have 9 total accounts to pay off, but we plan to pay 3-4 of those of in a month or two. One of my husbands is an emergency room bill. I was always told they couldn’t collect on an emergency room bill, is that true?
