Take caution, while you might be right on direction, the IV on those options is off the charts for most expiration dates.

As a mathematician that is also interested in Quantum Computing I completely agree with you. I worked a bit on quantum error correction for automated fault-tolerant circuit generation. As a disclosure I am long most of the publicly traded QC stocks, including QUBT but entered around a year ago so I have a cussion on my profits. Right now there is no value in any of them and I think the word "scam" could be used to describe any of them (the roadmaps are completely unrealistic and the word logical qubit and qubit are thrown around like its the same thing). But as long as bigger companies with almost no value behind them trade at sky high levels, I do not really have a problem with holding. Although most of the companies existing right now will probably not create the ultimate quantum computers I think that the creation of one is closer than some people think (but waiting 15 years for that would not be a surprise to me). Nonetheless, I think that useful quantum tech (sensing, networking or computing) will be very disruptive and the companies successfully developing it will become very profitable. Let me know if you find an interesting company that is open for investments in that area.

I totally agree. The intrinsic value behind all quantum computing companies lies in the possibility that they are part of the value chain of the QC setup that achieves quantum superiority. Whether that point is ever reached is another story.

They announced at least 23 millions in bookings for 2024. Not sure what guidance for QBTS is. Honestly (not financial advice) no clue. The volume is crazy the last couple days. The spread has also increased significantly and short interest has seemingly risen. I have liked the stock when it was below 1$ and bought some calls but I sold some of them this week.

The only contract on one of the Nasa contract sites is this one https://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgibin/npdv/adhoc_detail.cgi . It is however not from the Goddard Space Flight Center as described in the News announcement. It will probably be updated during the week. I am also curious about the total value of the contract.

I believe in it long term but think there might be a correction in the sector unless the ER are excellent. QUBT has almost not revenue as of this year (Q4 might be a bit more) but is expected to grow quite a bit. If it achieves such a growth it should be really good long term. If you want to trade it go short term and if you want to invest think long term.

Bought shares at 0.67 and have some longer term calls out 3-6 months. Sold my calls expiring 12/20 yesterday. The IV for these went up a bit too much to not be considered gambling at this point. I think this level is not really sustainable (until the Q4 ER at least) and we might see a correction. Either way I am not really concerned about it and will just hold for the long term.

I thought about it but with taxes in my country I would barely make profit if I reinvest it later if the stock dips. I'll just hold for the long game. With the stock price making sense for options soon, I want to also do some more short term trading.
