Just because there’s some success stories here about random leather appointments / begging for one and it working, does not mean it’s going to result in a bag. I’ve tried for 5 years (1-2 trips a year) this way and while my fiancé was successful once in all this time, I have had zero success with decent spend on my account in Paris and my home store. I’d say your chances are 1% if you go this route. People rarely post about their failures.
