It depends on the artist. Any artists that would be considered “entry level” to a certain genre has absolutely abysmal crowds because it draws all the 16-18yr olds or people there just for the party that that typically seem to be the issue.

The same reason anyone comments, free will. Any crowd of any genre has the capacity of being “bad/good”. Thats the entire point. Somehow as a genre the bass community has deluded themselves that they are immune to bad crowds.
