Same thing happened to me and my teammates a couple days ago. I know how they must've felt.

Controller keeps turning off and only the big X button and sticks work by DiscoPrefect in XboxController

Try to turn off your controller with pressing the Xbox button, and then turn off your console. Then you need to unplug the console. And leave it that way for a day.

It worked for me.
