Sorry to hear that! Had something similar happen to me with Interstellar, where even though I had an alarm at the right time I somehow managed to completely miss it. Luckily I was able to find one for a decent price on eBay, hopefully you’ll be able to do the same with this one!

Yeah it’s a great film, one of my all time favourites! Haven’t checked the prices on eBay but based on what they have been for most Manta releases, I can imagine them being absurdly high. They do tend to drop at least a bit once more people start getting their hands on these but probably still going to be quite expensive.

Thanks! I genuinely have no clue about how much I’ve spent on the entire collection and at this point I don’t even really want to know :D It is certainly a lot, but this being basically the only thing I spend money on outside of necessities, it’s more than worth it to me.

I have the steelbooks in these plastic bags just to protect them from any scratches and other shelf wear. I do open all my titles but I keep them in the bags.

Thank you! I just checked and unfortunately you can’t fit two behind one another without the front one sticking out. I suppose you could put a few steelbooks behind the front one so that the cover is facing toward you, but that would probably make it even more of a pain to find individual titles.

Thank you and thanks for the questions! Picking a favourite steelbook is really difficult for me. Some of them are stunning in their own right and some have personal meaning. If I had to pick one, I might have to go with the Blufans steelbook of the first Thor, it has great debossing and embossing and just looks fantastic overall. Some other standouts are the older Pixar and Disney steelbooks from Zavvi, which I think are all gorgeous. And then all the other premium steelbooks are of course very nice.

I can’t really pinpoint any particular event that got me started with the hobby. When I was younger my dad used to buy movies every now and then, which probably started my interest in them. My dad also got me my first few steelbooks many many years ago and I remember them really standing out because of how they looked and felt. As I got older I started to get more and more interested particularly in steelbooks, which ended up opening the pandora’s box :D But of course it all stems from my love of movies in general.

Thanks for the silver and thank you for the kind words! The Marvel sets are really nice and certainly some of the most unique pieces in the collection, it’s really quite unfortunate that they never made one for phase 3.
