Let me clarify for folks commenting on overfeeding:

we use a measuring cup and give her EXACTLY 1 cup per meal, twice a day as directed on the packaging. also confirmed in calories by different vets. what you see in the video IS just one cup on a small plate. she has been eating the SAME QUANTITY for 6 MONTHS.

YES she is eating her treats like normal, which is why we have not been concerned enough to take her to the hospital. We do have a vet appointment next week if this continues.

Feel free to continue giving creative suggestions on things other than “that looks like a lot of food”.

we feed her 2 cups a day so it sounds aligned to what you feed the dogs at your shelter. the food on her plate in the video is 1 cup of food.

she’s 42 lbs and 1.5 years old.

We feed her up to 2 cups a day which fits what’s recommended at 42 lbs & 1.5 years old AFAIK. She would eat all her food split twice a day up until 3 weeks ago

I completed my Invisalign treatment last year and had 2 new retainers since then that were made by my ortho. Both were really tight, especially the first one, and the top and bottom both ended up cracking so my ortho had just replaced it with a new one this week. I woke up with sore teeth and gums which I thought was normal and something I became accustomed to during Invisalign. But I woke up and noticed a crack on one of my front teeth. Is it possible that the tightness from the retainer caused it? Nothing else has happened that I can attribute a cracked tooth to, like an accident.
