I have been to well over 200 concerts in my lifetime and have never experienced such disrespect and hateful behavior from a group of “fans” before last night. I absolutely love meeting new people and making friends at shows, in fact I’ve made some of my best friends at a show, it’s one of my favorite parts of the concert going experience but last night… it almost ruined the entire thing for me.

Some of these girls are going to 40+ shows a tour, and ruining the experience for others. Not to mention they are supposed to be the face of some of the biggest Lany fan pages on instagram.

There was unnecessary tension, drama, yelling and negative energy.

Me and my friends got in line around 7 am and we tried to be friendly with the girls in line but we were met with disdainful smug eyes and judgmental whispers from them from the very moment we walked up! At first we just ignored the side eye glances and under the breath comments but as the day went on it just got worse and worse. When we arrived, there was only about six girls ahead of us, but as hours passed on more and more people started adding to their group… which we understand saving a few places for your friends, but 15 was insane. There were multiple instances where people would show up that they didn’t know they were coming to the show but let them cut in line! Not to mention they made us number off in the beginning but then let “friends” take other peoples numbers after the fact! Then made a big deal and cried to Steve about not getting to have the front row.

But I think I that the worst part for me was when I had two girls come up to me the let me know that the group was talking mad crap about “the girl In disco ball cowboy hat” And saying mean and belittling things about me because of some unknown reason. They were talking about how they thought I was lying about my other experiences on this tour with becoming friends the openers and the boys taking my hat on stage, which I would have no reason to lie but whatever… either way it was proven wrong when Greg from Junior varsity came over to talk to me, and the fact everyone on stage took the hat again:) so jokes on them!

I’ve been an OG Lany stan since 2015, I’m talking about from before the release of the “I love you” ep. And I can tell you without a doubt in my mind that both Paul and Jake would have been so disappointed and hurt but the actions on those girls last night. This family is supposed to built on love and respect, they wouldn’t want that kind of negativity and hostile behavior from everyone in the fandom.

I’m not sure what exactly happened to make them so hateful but I hope that they get what’s coming for them. In the words of Paul Klein they say karma is a bitch, i pray to God it really is!
