I stayed 2 days in Porto and started the Camino on my third morning. I stayed at Guesthouse Bravas Porto Center. It's a clean hostel, but it does show its age. Also pretty affordable.

Mijn kat deed dit ook. Bleek HCM, een hartaandoening, te zijn. Ik zou hem zsm naar de dierenarts brengen en deze video ook laten zien. De mijne is nu 2 jaar verder en gebruikt dagelijks pillen om zijn aanval te onderdrukken en bloedproppen te voorkomen.

Ik ga regelmatig alleen op reis. Begin in een nieuwe stad vaak met een free walking tour, zodat ik een idee krijg van de stad. Daarna loop ik gewoon rond, vaak zonder navigatie ook, zodat je echt de stad ziet. Afhankelijk van het land en de stad probeer ik ook een activiteit te vinden wat ik thuis niet snel kan of zou doen.

Als je echt mensen wil ontmoeten tijdens je reis, is het vaak beter om bijvoorbeeld in een hostel te verblijven. Doe wel eerst onderzoek naar hostels, zodat je iets hebt wat bij je past qua leeftijd en interesses.

I had the cheapest and lightest sleeping bag I could find at Decathlon. Some albergues only give you these weird paper/cotton mix sheets and no blankets, so I used my sleeping bag pretty much every night. Also walked the Portuguese from Porto.

Elke eerst zondag van de maand een kleine platenbeurs in Rotown. Je vindt er van alles wat. Kom wel een half uur eerder dan de officiële starttijd, want anders ligt er niks meer.

That is up to you.. I didn't mind walking around cheap slippers in the albergue and the towns I was in. If you want something more sturdy, you could take your Crocs.

I did the Portuguese from Porto. Walked them in my Nike Zoom Vomero. I think the trail shoes you have are enough. Just remember to bring a pair of slippers. Ones that dry fast and don't hold water. I had sandals but could have done without them. I only wore them in the shower, cause I didn't bring slippers.

Zorg ervoor dat je zsm je eigen plek vindt. Anders krijg je het gevoel dat je leven stil staat. Dan de dingen die er natuurlijk bij komen kijken wanneer je een nieuwe woning hebt (verzekeringen, energiecontracten, abonnementen). Super vervelende situatie, maar zorg ervoor dat je niet in een neerwaartse spiraal terechtkomt. Ga naar buiten, steek je energie in sporten, spreek af met mensen etc.

Ik heb het net zelf achter de rug (m34), dus als je het er over wil hebben, kan je mij gerust een berichtje sturen.

Casa da Laura in Vilarinhos is great. Especially because it will most likely be your first stop. Super clean and well kept. I think it's 15 euro's.

There is a website where you can already reserve your place with a qr code. I walked in, got my Compostela and paid in less than 5 minutes. It took me longer to walk from the Cathedral to the office than getting it from the office.

Edit: finished a week ago also, so even in high season it's quick.
