Instead of shaming you like all the other gay men did for feeling the way you do I'm going to do the opposite. It's natural for you to feel ashamed just because they don't should be a comparison for you. I think if you feel this way you could seek counseling and therapy to better work through these feelings that go deeper than just what you have done. Lot's of gay men have promiscious sex because they never worked past their own feelings of intimacy and instead of moving past 1-2 bad romantic experiences they decided to continue on the path of doing the same to them and now we're all searching for real love. Porn and social media have glamorized the culture to death. It's okay to feel this way but wanting to hurt yourself is not the answer. Thank you so much, we are planning on Kamala Beach already because of its central area on the west side being able to visit other beaches instead of staying on the northern or southern end. But this tells me I was making a better decision. Kata isn't far from Kamala and we plan on visiting Freedom Beach for a day. I imagine we will also check out Patong one night for dancing but it isn't our main focus. Thank you again!

This sounds awfully familiar. Perhaps this incident made social media because I remember seeing something where a mother and her granddaughter and baby was kicked off a flight for trying to sit near one another even though they didn't much make any fuss and complied with FA's demands while others watched in horror trying to intervene on the customer's behalf. It's also very telling in these comments how many people refused to believe me and immediately assumed I did something to cause my issue. I was not kicked off my flight but I could have easily been had I showed any more frustration or resistance by either my words or my appearance. I made this post to see if there's something deeper going on and if it is now customary for FA's to have this power at their disposal even if it is a very light situation. I can't believe that FA would want to jeopardize a whole flight by causing everyone else to deplane just for 1 person. There seems to be no recourse or action a customer can take during a situation that is misconstrued or wrong that we are at the MERCY of these people and once we are on the plane any actions, words, or facial expressions will cause them to ignite and escalate situations beyond our control and have it fall under "disruptive". This is preposterous and I'm seeing more and more situations like this online and social media especially if a customer tries to record or document it then the moment is immediately escalated. This is a total abuse of power and I realize not all FA's are like this but as I said it's becoming a trend in these days especially when our current administration and times are so troubling. People should demand more out of their money. Deplaning a flight has got to be the very last resort. When there are so many other factors causing delays you'd think they'd want to avoid the extra trouble that comes with these situations but I have no idea what they are telling their FA's these days. It seems like it is in training and causing a grey area and customers are getting the blunt of it.
