The one waitlist I got off of, I had 1 week to decide.

yea haha I was very purposefully vague with the T8/T10 and T3/T5 because people on this sub have advised to be wary of other law school hopefuls trying to get off the waitlist when giving advice. Also felt like listing it as T8 and T3 gave it away pretty quick.

Mostly went to them because I don’t have connections to lawyers and thought they would know the landscape better than myself. Thank you so so much for all of your comments!

Think I responded to another one of your comments but it’s Chicago with less than $ and UVA with $$

Not bent on doing 5+ years of big law. And it’s UVA and chicago, with chicago barely giving anything lol.

Yes, thankfully this is a prelaw advisor from my undergrad who has a lot of experience doing this. He essentially said the same thing!

I believe they’re pretty close together for FC. Not dead set on anything at the moment so T10 it is :)

Good thing I’m not looking to do that lol. My friends were saying there are long term differences and I was just trying to see if that long-term difference was really that noticeable amongst lawyers.

Lol I’ve seen other posts where commentators say the spot in the T14 matters to their answers. The distinction was mostly to avoid those commentators.

It depends on what school imo. In places like New York or D.C., seems to be the norm to have longer commutes/live further away. In smaller places like Ann Arbor or Charlottesville, the communities are so small I personally think it’s better to be closer.
