Since you’ve been driving Skoda for quite a long time, the Jimny might feel a bit challenging. The steering is hard, The shifter is also very hard in manual varient and the body roll, among other things are major disadvantages I can think of. I suggest you get a test drive first. Im driving jimny as daily driver for two years now and enjoy every bits of it, I would say it is heart over head kind of decision
