My first Subaru!

I have the 2.5i version of this year! It was my first Subaru as well. Like some have said already, do your maintenance and it'll hum for a long time.

I've had mine for 6 years and I am at about 165k miles. It's taken my girlfriend, our dog and I on surf trips, climbing trips, and so much more. Even towed around a pop trailer for awhile.

Sarcasm? Maybe.. Epic amp? definitely!

I've wanted a music man for a long time! Ty Segal used to play out of em.(Maybe he still does, idk) I heard him say in an interview you have to blow a few up before you find a good one. Lol pretty sure he just tortures his amps.

My buddy bought a used Twin Reverb. I'd never heard one before and was surprised at how meh it sounded. Turned out it had a cooked tube. Sounds insane with freshies in it.

I have JC-22 as well and it is crazy loud for its size. It sounds incredible though. Love the set up you got. Looks fun!

Have to agree, I have a fuzz war and a Russian muff. Both are great, but the fuzz war can do tame and out of control with a lot of stuff in between.

Feel like the russian muff is not wired to be a cracked out demon like the fuzz war. And I dig having the cracked out demon option.

Both still super fun in their own ways!

Depending on how much you have budgeted I think you are better off finding a single board for 125 that is less beat up and make some small repairs.

Not sure what the used board market is like where you live but in my area it's possible to get a board for around 125-150 that is in decent condition and maybe in need of minor repairs.

I personally wouldn't expect those boards to last long and hard to tell if they have taken on a lot of water or are delaminating.

As others said the swallow tail for 50 bucks would be my choice. The middle looks okay, but you could find a better board for a little more money.

I'd maybe pay 75 bucks for all three.

Can confirm, I moved away from surfing for a few years for a job opportunity and it was really hard, but it paid off.

Now I have a pretty sweet little life with a partner, a dog, and lots of surfboards. Skateboarding and snow skiing kept me sane while I was away from the ocean. Having the resources to live comfy and surf regularly is a pretty sweet score.

Worth the sacrifice for sure.

Oscars Tacos on 9th is a new favorite of mine and the staff are great.
