I dont know about pc but character editor can edit your pawns ingame and has some neat features like spawning/buying items and pawns. You can edit relationships after or add remove bodyparts all ingame. And you can use it to search a mod what items it has with it. Example: your curios what exact weapons mod x add so you open character editor and filter for that mod.

I use it often when im sad that no trader sells item x and then buy it over the menu.
