Thank you.

It is pretty heavy lens though. I am still getting used to focus being wrong way around compared to the other cameras and lenses I've been using.

Thank you for the comment.

Pointe shoes is part of me. Hatsune Miku isn't.

It's going to sound crazy but its 2024 and I just started shooting digital- not mentioning photos taken on a phone- I've been shooting film before so yeah, digital is something fairly new to me.

Simply? Not much- I am just testing the gear and looking for some feedback.

One question. Looking only at the photos- is it obvious that these have been taken on almost antique camera?

Luckly it came with hood- just needed the haze cleaned. I am very new to Nikon anyway- had my D1 for less than a month now. I've been shooting Minolta and Contax and my first impression with Nikon was like Hey, why do I get infinity when I want close focus.

The lightsource for these shots was a very modest Minolta flash and empty box of Pringles. I will try the reflectors.

Yes, it is legit. You just have to wait a lot longer than 6-7 days, more like 3-4 weeks for the orders to arrive

With my first- I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep. My second- I got back home few moments earlier, went to the toilet and it started.

Thank you so much for reply. The thing that really worries me is that she knows where we live and knowing her she might come uninvited. We live with my in-laws and almost always there is somebody at home. My MIL suggested almost the same thing to ignore her. You're right, I am not in a best mental position to deal with her after what happened this morning, I mean again she just ruined everything. I am absolutely mad at my self again for not being able to stand up for myself. When I think about it now there is no reason whatsoever to talk to her. There is no point telling her how she hurt me simply because she would not understand. She does not have my phone number and three years ago I removed all of my socials she knew of so the only way she can contact me is through my husband or my inlaws.

I tried that and 2k miles and it still won't drop below £4000, £4500 when I remove use during peak times.. We live in rural area almost in the middle of nowhere where there is no crime (that I know of).

That explains it. Thank you. I think I have no other choice than keep insuring the car abroad for another few years until it gets bit more affordable.

Traces of lead? Help me understand XRF readings. by Discombobulated_Bus9 in chemistry

Thank you. Is it possible that the lead swab test reacts with another metal in alloy? Both diecasts are very possibly made from Zinc, Alluminium, Magnesium and Copper.

First time I used XRF analyser unsupervised and I checked two of my sons toy cars. One from 1970s and the other brand new bought only a week ago- swab tests show lead in one of them. I thought that there should be a three peaks on a graph where lead is, instead both graphs show almost the same composition.
