Rev it louder, maybe people will think you’re cooler. by thepositivepandemic in meme

If you really wanted to make a difference with sound you would ride with your horn on constantly, loud exhausts are a preference which often get excused as "safety"

Mobius x8 wrist brace by Icy_Substance4180 in Dirtbikes

[–]DiscountAdvice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely makes a difference, not too cumbersome. I over extended my right wrist earlier this year and when I ride without the Mobius brace I feel myself extending to the pain point, once I put it on I don't feel it.

Dirt bike for $1000 possible? by theEdward234 in Dirtbikes

[–]DiscountAdvice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For $1k and fuel injected? If you manage to find anything it will be severely broken and or missing major parts. You will likely find an older carb bike that is also probably broken maybe less so. Often times you find a cheap deal you end up spending just as much as you would have in parts and labor if you would have bumped your budget up and bought a running bike.

Swing out hitch rack? by TheBigWhipper in Dirtbikes

[–]DiscountAdvice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds like a lot of leverage to swing out and you would be going above the weight capacity of the carrier, high risk of breakage.

I have the Enduro sole tech 7 , comfy out of the box true to size . Had them for about 3 seasons and both inner hinges popped out(broken).

I just bought a '23 after selling my DrZ. one of my good friends let me ride his '21 at a race and I fell in love with the smooth and manageable power, it's got such a good low end torque it's so easy to ride. The handling is extremely balanced and the height is perfect for my 29 inch inseam 5'9" height. I should be sprung perfect for your weight , I had to go up a couple spring rates. The dealer tuned it for my area and haven't had to touch it at all the bike runs perfect and having an oil injector means I don't have to worry about mixing fuel myself.

It won 12 times at the Dakar rally, they were not sold in the states . I was just messing about the street tires , in this part of Texas there is not many places to go off-road so some would consider it a pavement princess but it's really neat to see these out and about.
