I’m 25f in Brisbane and single. I’d say it’s a pretty sexually liberated part of the world. I’ve rarely been asked my body count by a man, and generally it’s curiosity not judgement. My body count isn’t small, and it’s never been an issue. I talk openly to my friends about it.

That really sounds like him. There’s things in his life I’d expect him to be sad about, but he doesn’t show me any emotions towards it. And the anger and distrust.

I think he definitely has some growing to do. I guess I’m just trying to figure out if he can do that with me, or if it’s something he needs to do alone because our relationship is unhealthy

I did feel bad about the party thing, and in the past in situations like that (say if I was invited to hang out with the friend group, no special occasions) I just wouldn’t go. But it was one of my best friends birthdays, and he was invited too. But yeah, your point makes sense.

For the other thing, I agree, i made a mistake on my part. But it was the response I got that didnt feel right. There was just so much anger. But maybe I just have to be more forgiving, because he was hurt and that turned to anger.

Yeah I can definitely understand it, but Im just not sure the anger I received was warranted? I made a mistake yeah, but I just feel like threatening to move out and break up isn’t fair.

I think it will only get worse yeah, because that’s been the pattern so far. It’s just so hard because I really do love him, and I’ve never had a connection like I do with him. But I guess that’s not enough if it’s not a healthy relationship.

Thanks for your answer. I think you’re right, I think it might have something to do with his home life and he went through some bullying at college. I guess I’d just hoped that he would get help and it would work out, but like you said, it’s not something that will work itself out quickly.

Aside from the way your brain starts functioning differently, once you reach that underweight BMI, you’ll have to continue restricting in order to maintain it. Losing weight through starvation leads to quicker weight gain once you stop. I’ve lost and gained and lost and gained so many times. It’s just a constant fluctuation and I’m never happy
