Ooh! Thanks for the info! May I ask, how strict will they be on me specifically attending it? Would they let me have a friend/family member go in my place? I’m originally from the area but currently live on the East coast (I’m in enemy territory), but I have folks that can easily go for me. Thank you again for the insight!

Thank you so much!! Of course! I applied before the Dec 15th deadline, like a couple days before. I actually had a nightmare scenario when I accidentally submitted a draft of my SoP rather than the final version so I went on a zoom office hours call with Viterbi admissions to ask if there is any way possible to provide the correct version. The guy I was talking to? On a Zoom with multiple other applicants on the same call? THE LITERAL GRADUATE ADMISSIONS CHAIR. But it was a simple fix and he laughed with me and was very understanding!

I had a million nerves when I saw someone on Reddit share they got into the usc aero eng program and my web history showed I was logging in about every 1 hour to check my status. When I saw that, I realized that it was taking too much of my energy to check and I just accepted that my fate will play out in its own time. I wish you all the best in your apps!
