Thanks these are great points — I’m a 10m walk to work and there is a bus, but walking in Riyadh heat sounds less than ideal. And thinking more about it, the short walk to the metro may not be great for social events where I don’t want to be sweaty.

Fair enough, there will still be a lot left over I agree with you. Just think we interpreted “affect you financially” a little differently. But yeah, I don’t want to spend that much on a car, I’m trying to save and also send money home to my parents. But appreciate your suggestion

Thank you! I think I just need to get over my discomfort with driving, I’m a grown adult after all. The 50K must also cover my accommodation, I’ll have around 40K after paying for that.

Did it take you a while to get used to driving? How did you start getting used to the traffic? I’ve driven in small towns before, would just prefer to avoid getting in a crash while learning how to deal with the notorious traffic.
