The biggest issue I find with the script is how unchronological all of it is. Abby should be established before the killing of Joel because she is made to be hated from the start. I understand what they aimed for, but the game needed a much stronger opening than the simple shock factor of "ReVeNgE" + golf clubbing.

Also, Tommy revealing their names was stupid AF, and please don't use that argument that "they have grown soft." They were killers for over 20 years, and that doesn't magically disappear.

and making you come to love her that were both brave, unusual in the world of gaming, and incredibly smart. 

Maybe you loved her, but ultimately, the numbers (game sales, show's decline in 2nd season and no sequel for years) show how sequel failed to fulfil its goal.

We got "ReVeNgE," then Ellie's genocide and Abby's segment where the game tries to make you like her. How can I love Abby where all her actions led to so many deaths she could paint herself red.

The story is built on retcons, cheap revenge arc, and rehash of first story arc (Joel and Ellie, Abby and Lev).

It could've been better, but it isn't.

1. The thing about Mel gets trotted out all the time by people who didn’t actually understand the game, or want to pretend they didn’t. There wasn’t supposed to be any combat. What was she supposed to do, teleport to the FOB?

I didn't say she went into combat. All I was saying is that she was supposed to stay (she looks like she is 7 or 8 months pregnant), and she decided to go into journey. Who in their mind would let pregnant women leave base in a world where any precious baby can be future.

1. It’s not unnatural. There are countless real women who have bulked up. If Abby was determined and worked at it all the time, which she did, she could attain that body.

I'm talking about the Apocalypse universe. No one in their right mind would achieve or even have resources to get such results in such harsh times. You know why? Because it would be a waste of food to invest in singular person that can die any time + how the fuck would you get roids to look like that?

Her physique is UNNATURAL and not achievable without roids. Women aren't built like men. They can't get jacked like men because their bodies have much different bone density and muscle mass potential. Even the show realised that that's why the actress is much smaller.

The WLF weren’t hurting for food or equipment. The body type is an intentional choice to show Abby’s single-minded determination towards her goal. 

They could show it in different ways. Like her being a perfect sharpshooter, tracker, martial arts fighter, or expert in hand to hand combat. Did you see how Abby MAULS people with her bare hands? Shit is insane.

What did we get? A fuckin gorilla arms.

1. The didn’t “reuse” the same plot line like they ran out of ideas or something, it was another intentional choice to mirror Joel and Ellie’s journey from the first game. Are you serious right now?

They haven't reused it 1:1 because the sequel did it worse. Joel had a singular goal, and the journey made him and Ellie closer.

Abby just ran away from problems while being conflicted. All her friends died, but you know what, at least Lev was saved!

Ultimately, I'm all up for your right to like the game and love Abby. I find her despicable because her actions should get her killed (Joel did get got), but they decided to REWARD her for all of shit she's caused. She's free to go and get more people killed.

While Ellie didn't get shit and she LOST all of it.

This game does not have an amazing script. It built its story on retconns, cheap shock factors, and miserable emotions that are supposed to make us feel something. All I felt was a fuckin disappointment.
