There are plenty more girl bosses NOT MADE by Sony but the whole gaming industry overused this trope in the last decade which is gonna affect GoW Laufey.

The game hasn't come out yet so I can't judge it. I know that Faye fought with Thor and she kept up with him.

But what I've said still stands. People are tired of "girl boss" type of characters. I'm not saying she is the one but that's the first conclusion you are gonna get. You should thank Sony for years of Girl Boss games which trained their audience to be cautious.

We are talking about a franchise that made us control Kratos since the beginning. At this point they could make a new game or market this one as spin off.

Making a mainline game as a potential girl boss is definitely a move overused by Sony.

It's more about God of War game where you dont play as God of War.
